    Location and access<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Arjan lies inland on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, between JVC<\/a>, Dubai Science Park<\/a> and Dubai Hills Estate<\/a>. The Marina<\/a> is about 20 minutes by car, Downtown<\/a> around 25 minutes. Al Khail Road and Umm Suqeim Street are close by; there is no metro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What makes Arjan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Arjan is part of the large Dubailand development area and belongs to Al Barsha South. It became known for two attractions: the Dubai Miracle Garden<\/b>, a park with millions of flowers, figures and a flower-covered aeroplane, and the Dubai Butterfly Garden<\/b> next door. Both open in the cooler months and draw many visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
