1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Lovisa Homes Real Estate Broker L.L.C. (brand: REAL DUBAI)
Trident Grand Mall, 2 Al Mamsha St, Dubai Marina, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Represented by the Managing Director Dr. h.c. Tove Lovisa Bergkvist

You can reach us at this email address with any questions about data protection and to exercise your rights.
2. Which law applies
Our company is based in Dubai. As our services are also expressly aimed at people in the European Union and the European Economic Area, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data protection law of the United Arab Emirates (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) also applies.
3. Hosting and server log files
Our website is hosted on servers of Contabo GmbH in Germany. Each time the website is accessed, the server automatically stores technical data in log files: IP address, date and time, the page accessed, the previously visited page (referrer), and browser and operating system.
We need this data to operate the website securely and reliably and to fend off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are deleted after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a security incident. We have a data processing agreement with Contabo.
4. Cookies and consent
We use strictly necessary cookies without consent. These include the cookie that stores your language setting and the cookie in which we record your cookie choices (stored for 182 days). The legal basis is the exemption for strictly necessary storage in the ePrivacy rules of your country, together with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We use all other cookies and similar technologies - in particular for statistics - only if you consent via our cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future by reopening the cookie settings.
5. Google Analytics
If you have given your consent, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It shows us how our website is used so that we can improve it. Google processes, among other things, shortened IP addresses, device and browser information and the pages visited.
No analytics cookies are set without your consent (Google Consent Mode). The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Contact form, enquiries and email
When you contact us via a form or by email, we process the information you provide - usually your name, email address, phone number if given, and your message - in order to answer your enquiry and advise you.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Form enquiries are stored in our website database and forwarded by email to our team. This includes our cooperation partner in Germany, who supports us with German-language enquiries and is bound by this privacy policy. For our email communication we use Microsoft 365 from Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Ireland; Microsoft is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
7. WhatsApp
You can write to us directly using the WhatsApp button. Data is only transferred to WhatsApp once you click it and open WhatsApp. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Ireland, a Meta group company. WhatsApp’s privacy policy applies to processing within WhatsApp; data may be transferred to the USA.
We process the messages you send us in the same way as an enquiry (see section 6). If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, simply email us or use the contact form.
8. Reviews, videos and map
Google reviews via Trustindex
We display our Google reviews with a widget from Trustindex (Trustindex Kft., Hungary). When it loads, scripts and fonts are loaded from Trustindex’s server and the reviewers’ profile pictures from Google’s servers. Your IP address and technical browser data are transmitted in the process. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in reliably presenting genuine customer reviews (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
YouTube videos
Our videos are hosted on YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland). They only load when you click the play button; only then is data transmitted to YouTube. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
Google Maps
On our contact page we embed a Google Maps map (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland) so that you can easily find our office. When you open the page, your IP address and technical data are transmitted to Google. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing our location in an easy-to-find way (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Links to social networks
Instagram and LinkedIn are only linked. You leave our website only when you click a link; the privacy policy of the respective network then applies.
9. Backups
To prevent data loss, we back up the website regularly. The backups also contain stored form enquiries and are kept with Dropbox (Dropbox International Unlimited Company, Ireland). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in data security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Dropbox is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
10. Transfers to the UAE and other third countries
As our company is based in Dubai, your enquiry data is processed in the United Arab Emirates. There is no EU Commission adequacy decision for the UAE. The transfer takes place because it is necessary to handle your enquiry and to take pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).
Transfers to the USA are made to providers certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR).
11. Retention
We only store personal data for as long as necessary for the respective purpose. We delete enquiries once they have been fully dealt with and no further cooperation follows. If a contract is concluded, we keep the data for as long as statutory retention obligations require.
12. Your rights
You have the right of access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to withdraw any consent given with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
Simply write to us at hello@real-dubai.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live.
Providing your data is voluntary. However, without your contact details we cannot answer your enquiry. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
Last updated: October 2026. We update this privacy policy when our website or the legal situation changes.
